Virtual Self-access Language Learning Center (SALLEC)
The SALLEC, created in September 2021 by Dr. Andrew Tse, has two objectives in mind: a) to promote self-learning and b) to enhance students' confidence and competence to use English effectively and communicatively by watching various websites and completing exercises or tasks in these sites.
Altogether there are thirteen units. Each one starts with an introduction (the video), and this is followed by practical exercises, tasks, and test papers: (1) TOEFL Preparation (2) IELTS Preparation (3) Listening Skills (4) TED Talks (5) English Songs (6) Oral Presentation (7) Rhymes (8) Tongue Twisters (9) Reading Comprehension Skills (10) Vocabulary (11) Writing Skills (12) Quizzes, Games (13) Business English.
