外語達人秀是屬於「敢唱敢秀」的青春時刻。The Language Talent Show is the moment for those who dare to sing and shine.

一、活動宗旨

國際語言文化中心透過舉辦各類語言活動與競賽,激勵學生展現語言學習成果,並提升外語表達能力。本次「元智外語達人秀」旨在鼓勵學生以創意方式,展現語言魅力,增進英語與中語的表達能力與舞台自信。

二、比賽類別

本屆比賽設有兩種語言類別:

  • 英語組 (非英語母語的元智大學台灣學生)
  • 華語組 (非華語母語的元智大學外籍學生)

每種語言類別再細分為兩項競賽組別:

  1. 歌唱組(Singing Category)
  2. 口語表達組(Spoken Word Category)

※「口語表達組」作品可包含小短劇、喜劇表演、英詩朗誦、饒舌歌曲、舞台劇等多元形式。
三、參賽資格

  1. 本校在學學生(含研究生)。
  2. 可個人參賽或團體報名(團體組人數不得超過10人)。
  3. 影片內容須為 本人或報名團體成員親自表演,且須於*114學年度上學期(1141學期)*期間錄製。
  4. 參賽次數與限制:每位參賽者每個組別限報名一次。例如:可同時報名歌唱組與口語表達組,但不可報名兩次英文歌唱。
  5. 團體表演中,僅表演者(歌手)具獲獎資格。伴奏或支援成員可參與多個團體演出,但不具重複得獎資格。

四、報名與影片繳交方式

  1. 參賽者須錄製一段不超過 4 分鐘 的影片,內容可為:
  • 一首歌曲演唱
  • 一段短劇、喜劇、說唱或詩歌朗誦
  1. 將影片上傳至 YouTube(須公開),並於線上報名時提供影片連結。
  2. 報名時請填寫以下資料:
    • 組長姓名、學號、系所年級、電子郵件、聯絡電話
    • YouTube影片連結
    • 組員名單(含姓名、學號、系所)
    • 報名組別 (英語組/華語組;歌唱組/口語表達組)

五、比賽流程

() 初賽(線上)作品連結 YouTube  Links-歡迎按讚~Need your likes!

  • 參賽者於期限內上傳影片連結並完成報名。
  • 語文中心將依影片表現擇優晉級決賽,以10組為基準,最終組數將視「參賽數」以及「參賽表現」調整組數。
  • 初賽報名影片,將於截止日後,由語文中心統整各自影片連結,公告於語文中心網頁上,協助參賽者衝高按讚數。
  • 初賽評分採 70% 評審分數(語言與口語能力-50%、表演技巧與舞台呈現-30%、創意與內容完整性-20%)+ 30% YouTube按讚數(按讚數最高者得滿分30分;其餘按讚數則以[30/最高按讚數]*按讚數計分)

() 決賽(現場)

  • 入圍者須於12月3日參加現場表演決賽,無法參與者視為棄權。
  • 決賽評審將依下列標準評分:
    1. 語言與口語能力:50%
    2. 表演技巧與舞台呈現:30%
    3. 創意與內容完整性:20%

六、獎項與獎金

參賽語言類別(英語、華語)及組別(歌唱、口語表達)各取前五名:

七、其他說明

  1. 遲交或未依規定報名者,將不予受理。
  2. 報名者之身分別,將於初賽報名後由語文中心確認,若有違反規定或冒用他人作品情形,主辦單位有權取消參賽及得獎資格。
  3. 語文中心保留調整活動內容與規則之權利,若有未盡事宜,將另行公告。

2025 YZU Language Talents Show

ILCC always thinks of ways to motivate YZU students to improve their foreign language learning by organizing various activities and contests. This time, the center is organizing its 7th talent contest. All you have to do is to video yourself singing a song, performing a skit or comedy routine, or reciting a poem (in English or Chinese, depending on category) and upload it onto YouTube. The 20 best from each category (Singing & Spoken Word) will then be entered into the final stage live performance and may win a PRIZE.

Key Dates

1.Deadline: Upload videos before November 17, 2025

2.Final contestants announced: November 21, 2025

3.Final live performance: Noon, December 3, 2025

1st Place: NTD3000

2nd Place: NTD2500

3rd Place: NTD2000

4th Place: NTD1500

5th Place: NTD1000

Rules for the Contest

Eligibility

The contest is open to all YZU students.

The contest will be held in 4 performance categories:
  1. Spoken Word -English section: Can be a skit, comedy routine, poem, rap, or mixed performance.

2. Spoken Word-Chinese section: Can be a skit, comedy routine, poem, rap, or mixed performance.
3. Singing – English Section: Any song performed in English. Open only to Taiwanese Students.
4. Singing – Chinese Section (New): Open only to International Students.

 

Not eligible: Overseas Chinese students, students whose family members speak Chinese, and native Chinese speakers. If you are a native Chinese speaker, please register for the English section instead.

Note: Each participant may register once per section (e.g., one entry per event). You may join different sections such as Singing and Spoken Word, but not twice in the same one.

Topic

Participants can record:
Singing - A song (English or Chinese, based on category)
Spoken Word - A skit or comedy routine (English or Chinese, based on category)
                     - A poem (English or Chinese, based on category)

All performances must be decent in content and performed in English or Chinese as specified by the category.

Number of Participants

The number of participants is no more than 10 as video recordings will be viewed by judges online.

Time Limit

Maximum of 4 minutes per performance.

Closing Date

  • Entries must be submitted onto YouTube no later than November 14, and the video link must be provided at the time of registration.
  • No entries will be considered if submitted after this date. (ILCC reserves the right to handle any unexpected situations in their own way without explanation.)

How to Enter (Online Registration)

Register as a team (1 team = 1 registration). Please make sure you include the following information:
1. Team leader’s name
2. Student ID number
3. Department and major
4. Email address
5. Phone number
6. YouTube video link (must be public on youtube)
7. List of all performers (names, student ID numbers, departments, and majors)
8. For Singing or Spoken word categories, select the correct section (English / Chinese)

Within group performances: Only singers are eligible to win prizes. Instrumentalists or supporting members may perform in multiple groups but are not eligible for duplicate awards.
Contestants cannot win multiple places in the same category.

Competition Procedure


(1) Preliminary Round (Online)– YouTube Links — Show your support and give them a like!

Participants must upload their videos and complete registration by the deadline.

ILCC will select finalists based on video performance. Around 10 entries will advance to the final round, with the final number adjusted according to the total submissions and overall performance quality.

The preliminary round will use a 70/30 scoring system:

70% from the judges’ evaluation (Speaking & Language Skills – 50%, Performance Techniques – 30%, Content – 20%)

30% from the number of YouTube likes, (The participant with the highest number of likes will receive the full score of 30 points; the others will be graded according to the formula:(30 points / highest number of likes) × number of likes) to boost engagement and fun.

 

(2) Final Round (On-Site)

The finalists will be announced by November 21.

Finalists will perform live on December 3.

Judges will evaluate performances based on the following criteria:

Language and oral ability – 50%

Performance skill and stage presence – 30%

Creativity and content – 20%
