元智大學國際語言文化中心誠徵教學專案教師

International Language and Culture Center, Yuan Ze University, Recruits a Full-time Contract Teacher

一、 職別：講師以上。 

二、 名額：一名。

三、 起聘日期：自112年8月1日起聘。

四、 資格：取得國內外英語教學或教育等相關領域具碩士學位，具全英語授課之能力, 並具高度教學與服務熱忱、團隊精神、能與人和諧相處者。

五、 工作內容：

  1. 學期中每週基本授課時數為16小時。
  2. 籌備及教授大一新生英語營。
  3. 參與並協助本中心教學相關之活動與競賽。

六、 檢具資料：資料請以書面郵寄，並隨函寄送相關資料之電子檔。

  1. 求職信(cover letter)。
  2. 個人履歷(curriculum vitae)。
  3. 最高學歷證件影本。【凡持國外學歷者，請繳交經駐外單位驗證過之畢業證書，並檢附國外就學期間之入出境證明(請至內政部移民署申請)，尚未取得畢業證書者得以臨時學位證明書代替。】
  4. 最高學歷成績單影本。
  5. 具教育部教師證書者，請繳交證書影本。
  6. 學位論文，或五年內代表著作及目錄(需註明出處)。
  7. 推薦函2封。【必須為近12個月內出具之推薦信，其中一封必須為指導教授或前任雇主出具之推薦函。推薦函請由推薦者彌封。】
  8. 試教影片(長約20分鐘以內)，及可開授課程科目之教學計畫書。

七、資料繳交方式及收件截止期限：
意者請備妥上述書面文件及電子檔，於112年2月28日前(以郵戳為憑)，寄至：「32003桃園市中壢區遠東路135號國際語言文化中心 收」。請於信封袋上註明「應徵教師」。應徵資料恕不退還。恕不接受以電子郵件寄送及傳真方式繳交。

International Language and Culture Center, Yuan Ze University, Recruits a Full-time Contract Teacher

Initial appointment will begin on August 1, 2023.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Native-speaker or near-native-speaker proficiency in English;
  2. Master degree of TESOL or a related field;
  3. Ability to teach courses in English to multiple levels of language learners;
  4. Strong teaching, communication, and cross-cultural skills;
  5. Teaching experience at the university level preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach 16 hours per week during regular semesters;
  2. Teach and prepare teaching materials for Freshmen English Summer Camp;
  3. Participate and support teaching-related activities of the center.

 

Required Application Documents:

  1. Cover letter;
  2. Curriculum vitae;
  3. A copy of diploma of highest degree;
    * Candidate holding a graduation certificate from foreign country should have the certificate certified or attested by Taiwan’s official or semi-official office in foreign nations.
  4. A copy of the transcript of the highest academic qualification attained;
  5. Certificate of Lectureship issued by the MOE in Taiwan (if applicable);
  6. Thesis or dissertation, or publications within 5 years;
  7. Two reference letters;
    * The letters should be written within the last twelve months, one of which preferably by a direct supervisor in the current or previous appointment.
  8. Video clips of actual teaching in English (no longer than 20 minutes), and sample syllabus of courses to be offered.

 

All application materials should be printed, arranged from item 1 to item 8, and send in regular mail. *Application through e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
